Luke: 16. 23. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. Imagine that! The rich man only asked for just the tip of Lazarus's finger to be dipped in water to cool his tongue. He knew now that he didn't deserve anything and merely begged mercifully for just the tip. Now he resides in eternal torment even as we speak. How tremendous of a burden it must be for one to dwell in torments forever!
In Hell, people will desire so badly for relief and won't get even a dip of a finger tip worth of water of it. No, not now and not ever. This is the way it is folks. God is just and the wages of sin is death. These people chose to reject Jesus and are now paying for it for all of eternity. God doesn't play games yet so many think life is a big joke. People seem to think we Christians use Hell as a fear tactic. Well the truth is yes! What better way to save them that are perishing then to use Hell as an example. If it's the truth and we sure know it is then they need to hear it, early and often. Jesus sure didn't shy away from talking about it. Either the entire Bible is the Truth or the whole thing can be counted as fallacy. We can't pick and choose the parts we like and ignore the rest. This world needs to wake up and we Christians need to get our heads out of the sand and speak boldly on topics like Hell. Listen folks the whole world is headed there, do you care enough to share Truth with them? Or are you afraid of what they may think of you? Fearful of man rather than God?
