I began a series on the topic of Hell and this is the first installment which focuses on the crying of the rich man.
Luke 16:24 "And he cried, and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame."

The above video has been going viral over the internet. This woman escaped a fire and will forever be known for saying, "not today!"
No one wants to be in a fire, not now not ever. The Bible is clear that those who reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will end up in a lake of fire for all of eternity; call it a scare tactic if you want however the Bible speaks absolute Truth. This is a very serious topic and Satan wants to continue to blind people to the truth of this eternal destination.
God is our everything, why in the world would you want to reject Him and choose a life of sin just to end up in eternal torment? No one in their right mind would say that this would be worth it. Let's see the account of a rich man in Hell right now:
Luke: 16. 23. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: 28. For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
Just because you don't want to believe something is true, doesn't make it a lie. The truth is the truth and no opinion can alter it. The Bible has surely withstood the test of time.
Jesus Christ didn't merely suggest we become born again, He commanded it. So humble yourself today and let God show you why He really created you. Then you can tell Satan, "Not Today, you are no longer gonna blind me to the wonderful reality of Jesus Christ."
Don't waste another day, today may be your last!
"The question isn't 'Why would a loving God send anyone to hell?' The question is 'Why would anyone choose hell over a loving God?' "

Imagine that! The rich man only asked for just the tip of Lazarus's finger to be dipped in water to cool his tongue. He knew now that he didn't deserve anything and merely begged mercifully for just the tip. Now he resides in eternal torment even as we speak. How tremendous of a burden it must be for one to dwell in torments forever!
In Hell, people will desire so badly for relief and won't get even a dip of a finger tip worth of water of it. No, not now and not ever. This is the way it is folks. God is just and the wages of sin is death. These people chose to reject Jesus and are now paying for it for all of eternity. God doesn't play games yet so many think life is a big joke.
People seem to think we Christians use Hell as a fear tactic. Well the truth is yes! What better way to save them that are perishing then to use Hell as an example. If it's the truth and we sure know it is then they need to hear it, early and often. Jesus sure didn't shy away from talking about it.
Either the entire Bible is the Truth or the whole thing can be counted as fallacy. We can't pick and choose the parts we like and ignore the rest. This world needs to wake up and we Christians need to get our heads out of the sand and speak boldly on topics like Hell. Listen folks the whole world is headed there, do you care enough to share Truth with them? Or are you afraid of what they may think of you? Fearful of man rather than God?
Just as the gift of Jesus Christ is the unspeakable gift, the flip side brings us to the unspeakable Hell. This place is very real and the entire world is headed there unless they become born again by true faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus will transform your entire life and there won't be any questions regarding your confidence in avoiding this horrendous place.

As amazing as this video is on trying to depict Hell, it surely does not even come close as to how horrible this eternal destination will be.
What a shame that there will be tons of good moral people burning in a lake of fire for all of eternity in the name of self - righteousness!
Think about this, if you were good enough to enter heaven then you would be calling God the Father a fool for sending His only begotten Son to die on a cross in vain. How ludicrous!
The greatest lie ever told mixed with self- righteousness makes one blinding mess; Satan's lie goes hand in hand with humanity's deadly sin of self-righteousness; the great lie that will damn more people to the lake of fire than anything else; that you can be a good person and go to heaven!
Listen folks, we all sin so that won't work with God. We must be born again so that Jesus Christ lives within us. It's a free gift, however your current life will be lost. You will gain the life of Christ and truly live! Now and for all of eternity. Don't be a fool!
"Good people" don't get to Heaven, only saved ones do. Are you saved from your sins by true faith in Jesus Christ?
